Crowed isn’t into it either. Feels like a wild game.

Goes without saying, no? It's preseason. The last time I saw a Flames crowd into a preseason game was against the Blackhawks, the first game back at the Dome after the 2005 lockout.
It was pretty crazy. We gave Kipper a huge standing ovation when he came to our side of the ice for the second period.
The Fleury comeback bid game where he scored in the shootout was pretty rocking for a preseason game. That's the only one I've ever been to that had any real atmosphere.

Was that also the game Phanuef almost killed Okposo?
Guys that should be working hard to earn jobs are doing okay. Reiders been fine. Mangipane showing a flash here and there as well. The roster locks had a spurt or two in between lulls. Backlund displaying some new speed IMO. Tkachuk doing his thing without skipping a beat it seems.
IMO the third D pair has really struggled and there's a domino effect from that.
Kind of a shame Kylington hasn’t shown more, or enough to stick, up to this point. Should he end up in Stockton one would hope he matures with lots of minutes and grows into a solid future Flame.

Amazing game. The crowd wasn't actually that into the game at the beginning, just waiting for Fleury. We had two guys beside us that were butthurt over fans loving Fluery. They figured no one would care for the "washed up A-hole", and mentioned it out loud until he hopped over the boards for his first shift to a standing ovation.
