Is Yamamoto playing tonight? I don't recall hearing his name at all.

That was incredibly smart by Phillips to get that turnover. Very impressed.

Again, there was some impressive skill by Pelletier to get that shot off.

Pospisil, Ferland 2.0.
Also, Matthew Philip's kind of bugs me. Hes quick, hes fleet of foot and he looks like hes kind of good but his brain jams him up somehow.

They don’t like Pospisil for the hit or that he fed that oiler

The Oiler threw a pretty big crosscheck into Pospisil.

And then Pospisil threw some right hands into his face, even trade.

I figure Phillips is always exhausted by the time he gets to the net. Must be a pain to take the abuse or carry the weight of bigger players draped on him. Needs to get his shots off sooner than carry it the extra 5 feet or so IMO

Overwhelmingly better period for the boys in red. Dube can do whatever he wants out there. Phillips has really stepped up, and Tuulola is starting to own the boards down low. Pelletier looks far more engaged, too.

Phillips has been dangerous. That was another chance generated by him.

So far, Dube has been the Flames' best forward, but I've also been impressed by Phillips and Pelletier. I think I would rank the Flames' best forwards:
Dube
Phillips
Pelletier
There Pelletier made another good pass.
