Kinda cruel that he basically dragged this on and left the Raps with no options free agency wise. They're definitely in that possibility of going from Champions to out of the playoff next year.
I would expect that all of the love for him will turn into anger at him by game 20 of next year if the Raps get off to a rough spot.
I doubt that he was ever seriously looking at resigning with the Raps.

How was it cruel? It was not a given OKC would trade George. and judging by that return they didn't really want to trade him.
Well Van Vleet better have 10 kids next year. For all those who watched Lowry over the years, he is not the answer. After thinking about it yhey'll still make the playoffs because the East is terrible. OG is a huge wildcard though. I like him!

Yeah I'm ok with it being the Clips.. really sucks, but I get it, can't fault a dude with wanting to go home. Lakers would've been unforgiveable.. thanks for the memories and the title Kawhi
EDIT: And I will forever wonder if the city of Toronto's creepy obsessive tracking of him during this UFA process helped cause this (but could've happened anyway). Insecure stalking is a turn-off, man..

Personally I'm just as invested in next season.
Team is going to have a chip on their shoulder and will be out there with something to prove.
People forget the Raps get OG back next season. I could see.him having a breakout season.
NBA Finals of Toronto vs. Clippers please. It would be so juicy.

The Thunder have had Kevin Durant, James Harden, Paul George and Russell Westbrook. They have less championships than the Toronto Raptors.
