I get people like that Boston keeps playing hated teams, but I cannot cheer for Marchand. At all.

Who on earth hates the Columbus Blue Jackets? In my experience most people have a hard time even recognizing their existence.

My wife has taken to cheering for them because she likes the name Dzingel.

They truly have something for everyone there.

Sorry, should have been more clear, I saw some posters saying they wanted Boston to win because they keep beating the Leafs, and because of 2011.

I would say that the level of hockey in this series is the highest of all 4. The skill, size and speed displayed by Columbus is overwehlming, and Seth Jones is my favourite for the Conn Smyth. Nashville has officially lost that trade.

When people ask me whom do I cheer for now, I say, I don't cheer FOR anyone, but I cheer against. In other words, I want a particular team in a playoff match-up to lose in their series.

In Boston vs. Columbus, I want Boston to lose even though I hate Tortorella, because of 2004. But Columbus has never won a cup before and Boston has. And Marchand is a dick. And I strongly argued with friends for the benefits of Columbus' strategy of going all-in at the trade deadline and against Calgary's strategy of "zero disruption". So, I want Boston to lose this series. Which doesn't mean at all that I like Columbus... People don't get it, usually.

I'm cheering for a Blues vs Jackets final in which I will be happy for whatever team wins as both fan bases have endured a lot of disappointment over the years.

I could get behind that. Right now though I'm leaning toward whoever comes out of the Carolina/Islanders series.

"I think they're having fun," says notoriously cantankerous Columbus coach.

Says great hockey coach who historically doesn’t like the media and is treated unfairly in return.

haha,
Boston ... 'the only actual good team left'

It doesn't take 'good' to win the Stanley Cup.

Most years a really good team wins it but it appears once or twice a decade an average team sneaks in and gets one like the Hurricanes last decade. Looks like this is one of those years where the Cup winner could easily miss the playoffs next season.

I'm not sure where else to put this, but Brian Burke shared an interesting story about John Tortorella and the locker room incident with the Flames this morning on the Fan.

Totorella's son is a highly trained military operative, and that day he was being shipped out to an unknown location. John and his family had no idea where he was going, what situation he was going into, and whether he would ever come back. All of that was weighing on him that day, and it seems may have played a part in his reaction in that moment.

Of course, Torts is the kind of guy that wouldn't divulge that to the media or let it be an excuse. It's still really interesting to hear that, and provides quite a bit of context to that incident.

Panarin scores, but did the puck hit the netting?

Is that reviewable? I don't think so. Definitely hit the netting but the refs missed it.

4 officials. None watching the puck.

This is where an off ice official would come in handy

Cant take the goal away so immediately call a penalty on the BJs to even it up.
