I don't think his ability to put up points has anything to do with his reputation as a cancer. It's more that losing and locker room issues follow him around.

Pierre Maguire just mentioned it, but that was highly reminiscent of Kadri’s hit last year in Round One. He was suspended three games.

Don't see much losing here. I think the Ottawa situation was completely out of his control and the Uber situation honestly showed that he was mostly in sync with his teammates.
