Yeah I don’t care how talented a guy is, that is on 7 and 77 there. Weak, weak effort.

Yup. A really good period wasted on one broken play. Frustrating.

To be fair to Brodie, Lindholm unintentionally chipped it right between Brodie’s legs and Radulov took advantage of Brodie lunging forward at that exact moment. Bad play by TJ regardless but it wasn’t completely his fault.

Roope Hintz. Good steal of a draft pick by Dallas.

Pretty decent period, one nice goal/weak defense and the Flames are down after 20.

Man, we really need to avoid the Stars in round 1. Flames just don't seem to have an answer for these guys.
Excellent period overall for the Flames though, despite the score. Hopefully we can tie this up quickly in the 2nd.

Brodie has been absolute dog shirt for a long time... He plays better on the third pairing with 15 minutes a night. A defensive liability every God damn night. At least he used to bring points, now he brings nothing.

Different lines but the same results as last game. Still bobbling passes and muffing shots.

Brodie struggled to end that period.
An unforced icing off a bad pass then gets walked when you absolutely can't go fishing for the puck. I didn't like the lack of urgency changing PKers by Ryan though. It was a soft dump in and Radulov was already skating back up and Ryan was slowly coming to the bench.
Didn't give the new forwards time to get into their ideal positions.

lol Brodie has been good without a noticable mistake in like 3 weeks. Then one great play by Radulov and he's "useless" again.

Did Cogliano go to Dallas at the deadline? I missed that.

I can't help but think that some how that goal was Smith's fault.

So the Flames’ streak of being shut out is up to 4 periods. Bishop looking solid, could he hand the Flames their 2nd straight shutout loss?

Kills me to see us be considerably better and come out of a period down a goal.

Not really, if Brodie played the man and not the puck that rush is snuffed out right then. But he turns his hips away from the player to the puck and then Radulov pops the puck past him for a mini break. Brodie is terrible
