Yeah, I did miss it. I saw that at the end of the 2nd, VGK had a penalty to him up on the board, and my dad and I figured it must be Unsportsmanlike. At the start of the third, they showed a super fast clip of him skating to the ref and it looked like he was talking, but it was only a couple seconds long before something else was on the jumbotron.

Oh I’m sure he won’t get suspended or anything but I bet the league gives him
Or the Flames a call him and tell Hathaway to knock it off. It’s a pretty greasy play that is effectively a head shot.

Really? Sportsnet has one angle that to me showed contact. Wasn’t hard and I doubt the contact was intentional but I’m pretty sure he hit his visor.

May be we can ask AC to pull out that clip.

Subban through a pretty mean head fake to the ref there. Surprised he didn’t get tossed.

Yeah, it was not much contact (hence why I called it a mini head butt ), but the league should look at it nonetheless.

I love Tkachuck reactions on his three goals. First goal, act like you've been there before. Second goal, true elation as it was a big goal at that time of the game. Third goal for his first career nhl hat trick, act like you've been there before. This kid continues to carry himself like a ten year vet.

Yes I remember it, halfway through the third or so...but like the last play, he stopped short and was just guiding Eakin to where he should be after Eakin attempting to take a shot from behind. Eakin didn’t fall face forward like the other guy when he missed the hit.

The other play was a 2 minute penalty, not a game, and this one was Eakin just assuming he was going to be hitting Hathaway between the numbers before Hathaway stopped short and Eakin kept going.

Nah if Subban made contact he was gone and a suspension. The lunge with the head was borderline as it was to stay in the game, but if he contacted helmet to helmet intentionally he was gone and would be hearing from the league tomorrow.

Couldn’t fall face forward, the glass broke his fall

I doubt it was intentional, but neither was it Cujo's intention when he tripped and took down the ref when he was suspended for a game.

This was him yapping at the ref for a sentence, and then thrust his head even closer the next sentence. That was intentional, and the ref made the call as soon as he did that.

If that intentional motion ended up making contact, Subban was in another level.of trouble.

I still don’t know what Subban was so upset about. The replays showed at the dome he was well out of his crease. I couldn’t even see definitively if there was even contact.

I’ll tell you what pisses me off though. Gallant admitted after the game it was the right call and basically said he just through that challenge out there as it is 50/50 and no one knows what will stick. Replay is ruining the game. This is not the spirit of the rule. If there was a penalty for a goalie Interference review like offside, crap replays like this wouldn’t happen.

Gallant pretty much took a chance last game on the interference call too. Fluery didn't complain about any interference after the goal, and he's one of the more demonstrative in the league.

That changed that game to Vegas' favour in a one goal win and this game may have gone their way too if that late second period gwg doesn't count.
The application of this rule will change more the a few playoff games this spring around the league.

When did he say this? Where can I find it?
