Great period, pretty even game. Probably a bit lucky to be up 2 but Flames haven’t got many breaks over the past few games. Nice PK shifts to end that period. Jankowski is the man on the PK, impressive stuff from him recently.

Solid period by the Flames. They took their foot off the gas a couple of times, which you can't do against a team like SJ. Sharks will push back hard in the 2nd, so the Flames will need to be on their toes, match the intensity and keep building on this lead.
Rittich was outstanding once again. Score would probably be tied if not for him.
Special teams are lookin' good tonight!
