Andersson is amazing.

Lindholm is unreal.

This is so much fun.

Great presser by Peters - I quite like this addition (insert RAM ad here...or not). It's quite interesting to see the reactions right after the game. Peters was pretty funny discussing Czarnik..said that they kept putting him on the left, but he didn't know why because he plays better on the right side, so made the switch. "Gotta talk to the coach about that..."

You can see why the guys like him and seem, like with Darryl, to want to go through a wall for him.

And I believe that this one was for the captain. I think they guys knew exactly what they needed to do and dug in deep. Great game - super fun to watch and excellent result!!

I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!!

Everything about it.

Homegrown prospects galore
Finding ways to win when playing under par
Dealt with Goalie issues and never lost a step
Fun and exciting to watch

I could go on and on but if I don't post this I can't keep refreshing until the ATL gets posted

How many Flames on this current roster right now would be Olympians if the NHL went in what is it 2022?

Treliving is looking like GM of the year so far and Peters is looking like coach of the year.

Haha he doesn't seem to mind. If the flames keep it up, he will have a long offseason of fasting.

In all seriousness, baby turtles are required to be fed daily, but he gets a little treat after each big win. He is spoiled, but not TOO spoiled.

The only thing I'm loving more than this Flames win are all the quality Simpsons images being posted.

Kudos to you, Lisa. Kudos.

I think you guys misinterpreted what Kelly said. He was saying it was awhile ago in another instance that Kelly was calling a game and then Remenda texted him later about the rule.

I know we're all stoked on first in the west as we absolutely should be.

But how about first in the Pacific 5 points clear and a game in hand. Potentially 7 points clear tomorrow. WOW

If Kylington keeps looking like he did tonight, then you'd have to decide what's more important to the team.

Both have received fairly sheltered minutes (Natural Stat Trick lists offensive start rates of ~75% for Kylington, ~70% for Valimaki...the highest offensive start rate outside of Prout). Valimaki plays a more physical brand of hockey and would help if the Flames don't want to trust Stone or Prout with those extra minutes of checking. Kylington provides another mobile D to a team with Brodie and Hanifin already capable of carrying the puck. He also might end up being a huge asset to the 2nd PP unit.

I think the more advanced metrics might be a bit sensitive to statistical nosie with so little time logged by Kylington so far (~70 minutes of ice time).

Either way, with almost nobody on the Flames D looking like they might regress anytime soon (Giordano might because of age), Treliving has a very good problem on his hands as you need to have the trio of Andersson, Kylington, and Valimaki in a position to continue developing.

I thought they changed the rule last year so that it was an automatic stoppage. Guess not.
