Pretty good period for the Flames even if they have nothing to show for it. Leafs kind of sleepwalked through that period as they don't look particularly interested. Would be nice if the Flames could get up on them.

Are posters really that shocked it was called? That's a super easy call for the ref to make, he was 10 feet from it looking at them the whole way.

Are we talking about the same penalty call here? I'm not exactly sure what you think you saw but it's not what I saw as he simply tagged the Leafs player going by.
