Oh please. Justin is going to go down as one of the all-time worst PM’s this country has ever had. Shall we start ostrisizing people that support him? People get far too carried away with politics.
Comparing Trudeau to Trump?
This is easily one the dumbest things I have read on this board, and I have been here for some time.

And that type of response is just further entrenching the right.
Yes "ha ah stupid Roger' isn't good enough. I know you are a big fan of the zingy one liners but how about we actually have conversations.
That ok?
You are aware that you are berating the guy actually having a conversation, and not the guy with the zingy one liner, right?
Also, zingy one liners get posted 100 times a day 'round here. What made this one in particular so worthy of condemnation?
Is the Nelson Ha-Ha meme going to get everyone in hot water now, or just this particular time?
I guess I don't get why people feel like they need to do that stuff targeted to a specific individual who has been a member of this board.
But I guess if people are happy with that level of conversation - fill your boots.
I found it to be unfunny, arrogant and lame.

What iteration of “haha stupid oilers” thread are we on now? We’re clearly happy with that level of conversation. And the Oilers aren’t even Trumpers (publically, anyways).

Here's a comparison of Trudeau and Trump:
Neither had any meaningful political experience before being parachuted into a campaign for the highest office in the country.
Neither man has any political qualifications.
Both got elected partly on name recognition for reasons entirely irrelevant to the job at hand, but chiefly because their opponents had made themselves so odious that large swathes of the public could not bring themselves to vote for them.
Neither one is fit for the office he now holds.
Neither one is as unfit as some of the colossal boobs who have held those offices in the past.
How's that for dumb?

Trudeau was a Member of Parliament for 8 years.

Which is not a meaningful political office in this country. He was a bench-warmer for one of the safest Liberal seats in the country. A dog could do that job, and when I think of some of the backbench MPs I have seen, I suspect some dogs have been doing it.

I wasn't a Trudeau supporter at all during the campaign, and I thought for sure he would suck. I am shocked to find that outside of a few cringe-worthy moments with his far leftist insistence, he has done a fairly decent job thus far. The carbon tax is a way of life for everyone. Yes, it makes things more expensive, but what is the alternative? We as caretakers of this planet need to actually worry about stuff like this and start taking action now.
I think Trudeau has been much more representative of the people of this nation than Harper was, who seemed much more inclined to represent big business. Now Trudeau is being heralded as one of the leaders of the free world.
Is he perfect? Heck no. I can list off 5 things off the top of my head that I vehemently disagree with, but he has (so far) been doing more good than bad.
Thank goodness he actually went to China (unlike Harper) and started to get some trade deals done. He has been around the world being part of all these trade talks. Canada is diversifying under Trudeau, and that will reap more stability for Canada in the years to come, especially with that crook of a sadist leading our biggest trade partner. People can complain about the state of the economy all they want, but it was going down the tubes under the PCs, and the instability of the US is further denigrating it. Trudeau has done admirably well in standing up for Canada and having the foresight to start diversifying Canada's trade partners.
Maybe I thought he was going to really suck, and my expectations have so far been greatly surpassed in retrospect, but I would actually vote for Trudeau if an election was being held next month. Let's see what he does in 3 month segments. I don't envy the position he is in at the moment, that's for sure.
