Not everyone likes multiplayer. I don't want my game to be ruined by some idiot doing stupid ####. I hope when they say you can play solo it means everyone else is invisible to you.
Yea if this is the case and you can play without interacting with other players, then I will probably pick it up.

I hear you. I still enjoy it though. I love Fallout and will likely still prefer if they stay single player for the main games but I’m viewing this as more of a spin off.
Just to say something positive for once, here are some games that have been shown so far that I am definitely interested in. Won't necessarily play them all, as I'm firmly in the wait for reviews/reception camp on every game from now on, but I'll at least keep an eye on them.

In regards to the online gaming talk. I sunk an immense amount of time into MMO's like FFXI and WOW and SWTOR. Got sick of relying on parties to progress and even then put up with with too much garbage for very little gain.
Just done with playing with other people with my entertainment time. Give me single player DOOM and Elder Scrolls not online. Im good.

I enjoyed online games until maybe 5 years ago when it seemed trolling and screwing with people really seemed to take off.
Nothing ruins a game faster than other people.
The only multiplayer game I can really play much of these days is Rainbow Six. The devs seem to take people being toxic more seriously than actual cheaters, lol

The preorder deals for this year have absolutely been neutered compared to years past. Either you're paying more ($60 or $56) compared to before or the game you'd like to preorder isn't even an option (I want my Mario Tennis).
Last year Bethsedsa came out stating they were the defenders of single player games. Then they promptly made the next Fallout and Wolfenstein games multi-player. You can play both on your own, but I have my doubts, especially with Fallout 76, whether the single player experience will be any good.
It sucks that the two Bethsedsa games that I'm really interested in, Elders Scroll VI and Starfield, won't be released until next generation. So most likely 2021 at the earliest.
