Ha, that was a good one. Five years and a whole other kid added in and that was still the worst barf incident we've had.

My wife was always on barf duty when our kids were little. I instantly and uncontrollably just start dry heaving around barf. C'est la vie.

How do you fare watching the Jackass guys? My daughter had some digestion issues as a baby/toddler, so there was a LOT of vomit incidents. Pretty much nothing grosses me out though, so I was always the one on cleanup duty. That's also when I invested in our first carpet cleaner, which has turned into one of the best investments I've ever made

Other way around for us, she can do pretty much anything but barf whereas I can manage through it. Our deal was I deal with barf incidents and she takes care of poop incidents (the incidents, not just regular diapers).

100% fine with Jackass. The latest movie, though (was it last year?) I didn't really like. Maybe it was the new cast or something, but aside from the hilarious opening sequence with Party Boy's dick as Godzilla it just kind of fell flat for me.
I think with barf it's more the smell than anything else that gets me.

Vomit isn't too bad. With the proliferation of masks, if the smell is bad, I just wear one of those when I go deal with it.
I'd rather a vomit that smells bad, but I can anticipate it and deal with it accordingly vs a vomit with very little smell, so I'm unaware and I end up stepping or getting it smeared on me without warning.

I am not a fan of vomit one single bit.
I still help with the cleanup, but every time I feel like I'm about to hurl too.

Buy a little portable Bissel carpet cleaner ASAP.

Helps to have a mint in your mouth when wearing a mask.

I have one and agreed they're great... but the damn sprayers keeps ####ing up. I haven't figured out how to repair it yet. I'm almost tempted to buy a pressurized garden sprayer for the detergent rather than figure out how to fix the sprayer.

Anyone flown long distance with an infant in their own seat and used the CARES strap?
We fly to London Monday and are debating whether to use that + am inflatable foot pillow to make a bed area or take a travel car seat on the flight.
Worried he won't sleep well in the car seat since they're forward facing and pretty upright on planes.

Used both at different times. Would tend to agree that the car seats can be a bit of a pain but did feel that our kids were better contained and more comfortable in their car seats.
