I am not totally opposed to it providing we get a big piece back. I don't want quantity, that is a quality deal. Hamilton for Stone for instance.

I definitely think Treliving is listening to offers on Dougie. I hope it’s Brodie that gets moved this off season but if he trades Hamilton, well, I won’t be surprised.

Stone + IMO. But yeah, you dangle a big fish to get a big fish. And a 1st to pick in THIS draft.

Here is the problem, if you move Hamilton to insert Andersson you still have Brodie on the left side where we know he is garbage. Does BT possibly move both?

I am not too concerned about a first for this draft unless it's really high. Not sure that a mid round first helps us in the current window.

Folks are trying to downplay this draft but it's a good one. Not just at the top end. And you still need to keep the cupboards stocked.

You never see that in the NHL though. You would have to get permission to negotiate with his agent from the Islanders first and get absolute assurance he will sign.

Absolutely. I think I am safe but if the worst should happen my best friend is a tattoo artist thank God. Otherwise that would be not only pricey for the Flames owners but me as well lol. I will do it though if he signs as a UFA.
