That's right - I forgot Rask. I always keep forgetting the goalie.

Feels kind of criminal we get a point for Rask considering his performance.

As bad as the Bruins looked against the Leafs I believe every round is a new beginning and that it's still going to be a close, hard fought series against the Lightning. Rask is going to have to be a lot better though.

Thanks so much for the update - I was hoping someone would post them. Are the rankings and rosters available somewhere to the public? If not, it'd be great if the results are posted on a semi-regular basis so we can follow along.

Pretty much as planned!

Boston having a tougher time than I imagined, and Pittsburgh almost having an easier time than I imagined.

This was always the crunch round though ... number two. Getting Nashville past Winnipeg and Boston past Tampa is the win/lose point of the pool. We've already shown well, but now it's win the whole thing or slide into oblivion.

Do you think Nashville and Boston getting to the Conference finals is good enough to put us in position to win without getting into the finals?

I would think so.

A lot of teams down many bodies after round one. We should pull away from all but four or five teams now.

I don't think so. The Lannys have Crosby and Guentzel plus Murray and two more Pens and a Jet (Little). If Nashville and Boston don't go to the finals I assume the Pens and Jets are in and the Lannys will win based on those guys.

The Shortsticks have all the best Caps except for a couple SJ and one Jet. If the Caps get through to the finals, they likely win.

I don't see how the team tied with us can win though - they have only four players left even if their team wins out. They have good Jets but not Laine or Connor.

Getting through to the second round is a huge win for us, getting through to the second round trailing by only 7 points is really big.

Right now the Short Sticks are in really good shape because of the Washington contingent, but I expect that scoring will be harder to come by against the Pens.

The Lanny's are really all about 2 players.

Obviously winning should be the focus, but my recollection is prizes to the top3?

Bruins/Preds to the final 4 would go a long way towards that latter goal. Probably need Bruins to the finals to win outright?
