Bennett’s leash should be down to 15 games under a new coach next year. If he doesn’t show massive improvement ship him out.

I haven't been overly critical of Bennett during his time with the Flames but it is time to move him. I see a lot of similarities between him and Baertschi. They have brief periods where they shine but overall they don't live up to their potential.

I'm not sure how Bennett could be the best forward on the ice if he's made 3 trips to the box.

Other than being the worst player in the ice, he's been the best!

On the plus side jovial chris stewart seems to be gone- he was into it with somebody on the bench there. If I see nothing else tonight there better be blood.....

I watched the highlights from the Heat game against Winnipeg. Kylington look great. Even made a really really nice defesive play on a turn over he caused. He has the wheels to get back there. He's coming along very nicely.

Heaven forbid someone sees Bennett’s play away from this penalties as actually good. Because if you take a penalty (or 3) you clearly can’t be doing anything else right and don’t deserve credit.

To be positive, I like Lazar again tonight. Too bad the guy can't score because he works hard and looks good for the most part. If he starts scoring next year he could be a diamond in the rough.

You're five feet away ref, call that. But they can spot a high stick on kopitar from 100 feet...

I think we need to give him one more shot with a decent coach next year before we give up on him. If he doesn't take a step forward under a better system with better line mates, then sure, trade him.

Decent pressure by Janko and Stewart.

Sam, are you posting from the penalty box? Taking so many penalties so you can check your Tinder?

I feel like Lazar's going to be am important piece for the Flames moving forward. He's got the jam and he's been rock solid since he got regular ice time. He's not been a part of the problem. More offense from him and yeah I agree, diamond in the rough.

Effort is expected. You get rewarded for productivity.
