Jays haven't lost 100 games since each of their 1st three years (77, 78, 79). The last two World Series winners lost 100 games in this decade.

Maybe it's time.

I think the Jays and their local media have known this all along. I don’t by this is coming to as a surprise to them. Pinder should be bragging about breaking this a month before anyone else.

Pinder thinks anyone over the age of 30 in any sport is already finished, so I'm not sure he "knew" anything more than taking Tulo's age, adding in that he wasn't playing in the spring and came to the conclusion that it was over for Troy.

He did the same thing with Kopitar at the beginning of the season because of how last year went for him. That was a big swing and a miss.

The thought of the Jays actually developing a hitter in the minors and coming up to the majors and being an impact player would be music to my ears. The inability of this team to develop even an average MLB hitter is a major reason why this team is where it is.

To see Alford or Hernandez play a regular role in the outfield this season and be effective would be huge.

Will be nice. When’s the last time we accomplished that? Carlos Delgado? Shawn Green? I guess Lind was alright in more recent history, or Arencibia until he nose dived and flamed out.

We like to complain about having to play in a division with the Sox and the Yankees which is valid, but our player development has been nothing short of putrid for a long time.

Going to be a long year. The offence sucks and the d is below average. Will have to rely only pitching and winning 2–1, which doesn’t bold well when the Yankees and Red Sox are in your division

Typical Gibbons taking too long to make a pitching change.

Maybe, but I figure that Sanchez shouldn’t look so gassed after 70-80 pitches after a month of spring training. And against the #9 hitter.

True, but I wouldn't have taken the chance the way he was struggling finding the strike zone.

Cliff Floyd thinks Sanchez should have been removed earlier. Is Cliff on the broadcast team all year?
