So? So it sucks. No doubt.
But if my choice was between losing every game to them but being 10+ points ahead of them in the standings or winning every game against them but being 10+ points behind them in the standings I know which one I'm picking.

AC, please keep posting. Everything you say tonight is spot on (and almost always). I can’t muster the energy to think of anything smart to say at this point. I’m completely full of rage.

Yeah, he spoke about making sure we get to OT in tie/close games "because we feel we're a pretty good 3 on 3 team".

Flames just have no finish these days. PP sucks. Guys are holding sticks too tight. Aside from Tkachuk, they don't seem to attack the net enough. They are not being creative enough.
After getting up 2-0 on them, they should have been able to keep them down. They are losing to teams that are themselves rattled and playing terrible - LA, Buffalo and Edmonton. That is definitely worrisome.
I liked Lomberg though. Backlund I thought was just awesome in the 3rd. Tkachuk had a really strong game. Disagree a bit with Brouwer being terrible. He was just 'fine' - not great, not terrible.
Hopefully they find a way to regroup after this break. They haven't looked good since the last break ended.

Win 7
Break
Lose 4
Break
Win _?
The last break couldn't have come at a worse time. This break couldn't have come at a better time.

Brodie should work for his passing. His pass is so bad for receiver. Specially forsed D to D pass.

Can someone Photoshop Dave Cameron and GG's face into a silver linings playbook poster. Because that's be so apt right now.

Four straight games where the opposition is celebrating at the end of the game kind of puts a damper on the outcome. Loser points are better than nothing but the fact of the matter is it's four straight games they haven't been good enough to win in regulation.

Plain and simple; a team doesn't deserve to win if they can't capitalize on a historically bad PK that almost gives up a goal 1/2 the time.
I've seen a lot of bad Flames PP's over the years. Statistically, there have been worse. But for some reason, this years just GMG that much more than the rest. Maybe it's because it shouldn't be like this. Maybe because it's fixable. Either way, I've accepted the fact that our PP sucks and undependable. We'll have to win the 5 on 5 battle if we hope to win the game.

Exactly. Benefitting from a pathetic points system is nothing to be proud of.

Carry over from the ANA playoff series?

I would be willing to bet IF the Flames make the playoffs where all the games are important, gonna be another sweep. Get a 16th overall pick. Rinse and repeat

They're dog ####. I'd like to beat the dog #### team once over two seasons. Them being so far behind is makes it worse, it's not a moral victory.

Not sure how anyone can say the Flames were playing for OT tonight...you guys realize they were down 3-2 right? They tied it up and were pushing in the dying seconds
other nights maybe but not this game
