Hamonic to the ref:
“How may f’n sticks to my head does he get?”
Ref: “Well I got one right in the face too” as he wipes his face.
I think Hamonic gets the call. Headhunting shot after the buzzer though so no issue with Hamonic going over there, should’ve been two calls.

Hamonic for Roughing.
I'm surprised. I thought Virtanen taking a late shot like that would typically warrant at bit of shoving.

If the buzzer had gone I would get it, but before the buzzer is fair game IMO. It's pretty common for players to take a quick shot like that when they know there's only a second or two left on the clock.

I think the subjective nature of hockey officiating has to be minimized. I think the NHL refs can be absolute doughnuts some nights, but they don't have the easiest rulebook to work with either.

Gio not taking any prisoners. Goes for the killshot wrister.
Boeser is the only Canuck I support for fantasy reasons. I'm sure he'll be ok, that looked like a stinger more than anything.

Can't believe the refs didn't blow the call dead when the Canucks had possession of the puck. Vancouver really can't afford to lose that guy.

What is wrong with these refs... wow! Why would they not blow the whistle if it’s in Canuck control.

Looked like Boeser pulled a flamingo and might have caught that in a worse spot as a result.

What an a**hole. Slashes Gio after the whistle, after being called for a penalty.
