We could "demote" Frolik to a checking line four

Gaudreau-Monahan-Ferland
Tkachuk-Backlund-Jagr
Bennett-Jankowski-Hathaway
Frolik-Lazar/Stajan-Brouwer/Lazar

That would be a tough team to match up to. Frolik would give us a fourth line worthy of note, and Tkachuk / Backlund can carry Jagr defensively.

Great to see the Flames young players step up and take this one away from the Canucks.

Man, it was close to going the other way a few times though. Good division rivalry game.

Hathaway needs to continue to play like this though and be a little smarter about taking penalties.
Hathaway has 2 PIMs.

Love the energy he shows on the ice. Hopefully it translates into some goals.

He had a pretty nifty sequence on that Brouwer goal, which is more than what Stajan and Freddie have brought to this point. Don't know how you justify keeping those two guys up ahead of Hathaway once Jagr is activated.

This interview went in a bizarre direction. Hopefully they OK'd all this with Travis beforehand.

I must have been watching a different game. Flames were horridly sloppy - couldn't complete 2 passes (or even 1 sometimes) in the O-zone until later on in the 3rd period; gave away the puck over and over and over again; took too long handling the puck in their own zone (Smitty too!) and were lucky to be hanging on at the start of the third period. PP was atrocious - they should just go back to running their regular lines if that's what it takes.

They were full value for the last 10 minutes, and made more mistakes than a beginning driver in a rowboat for the first two periods.

Tiresome negativity? Really? You must have rose-coloured glasses, because the team that I watched came VERY close to losing that game until they woke up.

In my eyes, that is the wrong way to celebrate someone's family.

He pretty much made that Brouwer goal. That doesn't happen if he didn't strip Del Zotto.
