Rittich is a bit more reboundy than his previous start.

It's amazing that the main difference in the game is the Habs ability to break out with speed yet the flames slow Mo break out requires a dozen d to d passes before even looking up ice.

Some serious bad luck for the Flames over these last couple of games. It's clear the hockey gods just hate us.

This would be a nice time for one of the Flames stars to do something.

This team cannot buy a break. Just in one of those streaks.

Such a spoon on that shot and it loops right over rittich; he probably had all decent contact shots covered.

I didn't see the first but we haven't been good this period

They make more passes in their zone than any team i have ever seen. Great for possession numbers but so prone to turnovers.

At some point, you have to create your own puck luck. I need to see more bodies at the net.

Re: breaks

You make your own. Try playing with the puck in front of their net for a while and you get those chances

Edit: great minds...

They’ve been ok considering it’s the back end of a road back to back and they went to OT last night.

The flames d back to blind passes up the boards resulting in a turnover.

Habs are so mediocre. How are they close to .500?

Few flames actually know how to apply forevheck pressure that actually causes mistakes
