I hope someone, at the end of their shift and about to dump it in, insolently slaps it right on net. Especially if it's from close to center ice. That is my one wish besides a W.
It might be a legitimate scoring chance the first time too. Afterwards they'd merely serve as fitting bullets to a Moose's wounded pride.

For me.. Flames are in a no win position tonight in terms of public perception.. If they get the W, it’s two points they should be walking away with against the team considered the worst in the league at the moment due to the bad stretch.. Should the Flames lose, I would put the Flames among the worst teams in the league..
It’s how the Flames finish off this stretch up to Christmas. Should they hover around .500, They get a pass. Should the Flames finish below .500, do people get fired and or traded? I hope so. Should they finish well above .500, is it false hope?
I just really dislike how this team is playing in general, even when they win most of the time.

I bet the Flames win tonight. Boring weeknight game against an eastern team that we have no bad blood with seems to be in the Flames' wheelhouse, and the wins that GG is consistently able to grab. Primetime games against rivals or other Canadian teams is another story though.

I will never cheer to lose a game ever, BUT if the Flames do lose tonight to Philly, with their abysmal 0-5-5 (last 10), I pray that would send a message to the Flames managment to pull the trigger and fire Gulutzan.
That being said...Go Flames Go! Let's pick up the pace and score first tonight.

Well a typical "Forever a Flame" ceremony is about 30 minutes so 7:45
