Cleveland vs. Houston series would have been excellent. Two 100 win teams. But I'm happy the Astros have home field advantage now. Winning game 1 would be nice for Astros as Yanks will be confident coming in. Keuchel, Verlander in games 1 and 2.

Go Nats, I'm already sick of the Cubs.

LOL...a double and a run scored on a strike out.
Nats doing their best to give it away.

Using starters in relief on short rest rarely works.

MadBum in 2014 was the only acceptable time to ever bring a starter on short rest in for a relief appearance, and that was only because he had hacked baseball that October. But who's honestly surprised Dusty bungled a big game? Should probably be his last game as an MLB manager.

If you really want that $400 million Bryce Harper, now would be the time to prove it.

Brutal pitching - one of these teams will make the final four.

So Maddon appears to be going for a 7 out save with Davis. Alrighty...

Four hours already and we've probably got another 20-30 minutes left. But can't see it going extras with how Maddon has botched his bullpen. Not a good night for either manager.

Expected runs with first and second, no out = 1.5.

Nobody loses weird games in weird ways like Dusty.

This is setting up for Harper to hit a walk off homer, then strip naked and run the bases.

Personally thought it was conclusive from the outfield angle that TV stopped showing.
Foot was off bag and tip of glove was still on the leg.
