You already have thirteen bodies that are virtual roster locks right there. Shinkaruk and Poirier will have to clear waivers and may come in with huge training camps. Jankowski in my eyes is already at least one of our seven or eight best top 9 forwards. Mangiapane looked NHL ready by the end of last year. Klimchuk and Foo will push for a spot in camp. It's not like we would be handing a spot to anybody (besides Brouwer/Lazar, who have been handed a spot but double standards apply to certain guys)

I'll be shocked if Freddie has a spot or earns a spot as one of the 12 opening night forwards.

Thoughts and prayers to Cowen getting checked over by the quack Oilers medical staff. Hopefully they didn't follow through on their prognosis (determined as such because he sneezed twice) of full arm amputation.
