That series made Fraser my most disliked ref which led to me making this.

Fraser and Watson were the officials in the 1-0 debacle from game 4. They were supposed to do game 6 as well, but given how angry the fans were after they completely screwed us with that horrid two minute, two man disadvantage, and then by giving Niemenen a major and game with 5 minutes left after a major league acting job by Vincent Lecavalier, the league decided to send Watson home and switch Fraser to game 7.

That was the only game in that entire playoff run where the party atmosphere went off the rails. Nearly everybody leaving the dome that day was seeing red, and if either referee had been seen in public, someone probably would have taken a swing.

Yup, that is one of the two times in my life where I was uncharacteristically angry, just out of control mad. I remember I went to toss my nearly-empty beer into the abyss and stopped myself before I actually let go. The result was the remaining beer ending up on my beautiful red jersey. That was Kerry Fraser's fault too.

Game 4 was definitely the game that cost us the Cup, as much as Game 6 had the drama.

Yeah, I lost all respect for him after pulling that performance. I called him "Vinny The Wimp" from there on.

Same here... to this day I hate American Pie.. especially the 2nd one.

I remember crying and leaving the living room with about 10 seconds left (was 14 and just crushed) went to my room and turned the TV on and AP2 was what turned on. I watched American Pie 2 as the ######bags in Tbay hoisted the cup. Absolutely hate when I see that movie come on the TV now lol.
