Remember how we were all super impressed when Sean Monahan tied Iginla earlier this season for the all-time franchise record for regular season OT goals with 6?

Tonight's OT winner was the 6th such goal of Mikael Backlund's career. He too now holds the all-time franchise record, tied with Monahan and Iginla.

He. Is. Awesome.

But the Flames didn't blow them out, so they only improved their standing in the 4th tiebreaker by 1 goal. Sad.
