If it tastes like cardboard, you did something wrong

I just make it with cream instead of milk (18%), makes a huge difference. Make sure the cream is hot when you add it. Lots of black pepper mixed in. Franks Red Hot on top.

Like many have said, more butter less milk, and the thicker the milk the better. Then add;

Brown beans
Hot sauce

Also, like many have said as well, eating it hot hot is best. Although, room temperature isn't bad. For some reason "warm" just doesn't work.

Pretty sure cardboard would taste amazing if cooked with as much butter as KD calls for + more.

You people are savages.

I sous vide the noodles at 123 degrees for 7:39 for perfect texture.

I then sous vide the cheese sauce with organic butter and milk.

If I have time I'll even sous vide the ketchup, otherwise Heinz will work in a pinch.

You haven't had quick macaroni until you've had the PC White Cheddar!

My personal "thing" is to add a tablespoon of sour cream and some freshly grated cheddar. Bit less milk, bit more butter.

Mom used to put soy sauce on hers. I do every once in a while for nostalgia's sake. Not sure if I actually enjoy it or not.

My dad used to put soy sauce on ramen. Admittedly not as weird, and for me it is wayyyy too much salt. "What should I add to this salty soup? I know--more salt!"

Makes sense, since the soy based broth is delicious. Going to have to try that.

My parents were crazy about Maggi seasoning sauce. They would put it on everything.

President's Choice Deluxe White Cheddar. Less milk or a 2nd flavor pouch.

Toss it with a bit of fresh salsa and it's absolutely gold.

Kraft should sell just the cheese packets seperately.

Of course they wont because then you could buy just those and not their noodles.

I can't have the noodles, but the cheese is gluten free so I just end up throwing them out and keeping the good stuff.
