1. Lemieux
2. Iginla
3. Neely (not expecting too many votes for him, but loved that guy)

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Ronald (Chico) Maki - Because I love defensive forwards
Pierre Pilote - Because I love defensive defensemen
Stan Mikita - From league leader in PIMs to Lady Byng, one of the scrappiest players of his time.

Watching those highlights and seeing Forsberg fighting guys off, you just can't compare players today with the way hooking, slashing (on the stick) and holding is called. The same is true of Iginla. He was a beast on the Cup run and the two seasons before that. Padded the stats after that but never dominant in the same way he was back when you had to fight a tough physical battle to get past defenders.
Actually 3 could have been a lot of players. Probably should have been #12, but I am sure he will get lots of love.
The other two were big names when I was still a child and hold nastalga

1. Theoren Fleury - I still remember the weekend he was brought up to play the home and home against the Oilers. He just played with so much spark, really fun to watch. Was sad to see him go.
2. Gary Roberts - great player who didn't mind dropping the mitts.
