Has probably already been mentioned, but 3/4 of Brodie's assists were from the right side of the ice. Hopefully the coaching staff took note of this.

Calls Brodie grossly overrated and he proceeds to put up 4 points. Crow never tasted so good.

The assists by Brodie weren't cheapies either. He was the major reason for every single goal.
First one he makes a great play at the blue line that keeps the puck in. Without him keeping it in, we don't score.
Second goal he makes another great play keeping it in after Gaudreau lost it and the Devil swiped it towards the blue line and he calmly keeps it in again.
Third goal he makes a great pass between the legs of the Devil's player right onto the stick of Stajan.
And of course the OT goal he makes a beauty pass to Backlund.

Stayed up all night drinking and watching the game.
Flames come from behind to win, courtesy a fantastic Brodie set up, I wake up later in the morning and should have a pounding head but don't feel a thing and it's the weekend!
Sometimes life skips the lemons and just serves up lemonade.

To state the obvious, Brodie was brilliant last night. Just vintage Brodie. That was his best game of the year so far.
What also cannot be understated is how great Monahan, Stajan and Brouwer also were.
Good job by all of them.

Two things I noticed about Brodie the last couple of game:
1. Forcing his way to the right side and making good plays from there.
2. Even in the Minnesota game he was the 3rd (but key) assist on at least two of the goals. (I watched that game sporadically).
I liked watching him play with Engeland for a bit against Minnesota. It's kind of too bad because I believe the player that would work best with Brodie is what we all hoped Wotherspoon would turn into after the world juniors.

This.
It's the first time in back-to-back games that I actually noticed Brouwer in both of them. Hopefully he can keep participating on this team - he was a big reason for some of the optimism from the offseason.

Ferland is so explosive when he hits. Maybe it's too hard on his body to be so physical all the time. I would love to see just a little bit more of it though. He had it going tonight and he was a presence out there. Could help explain why Stajan had so much jump as well?

Bouma has had a ton of jump lately, if not physically then in getting to loose pucks and negating offside calls
