Turns 20 in September too could make the jump to the AHL next season. Will be interesting to see what route the Flames take him and what he's ready for.

great to see that a lot of Flames youngsters and prospects have been winners at a young age.

Gaudreau - USHL champion, NCAA champion, WJC gold medalist
Gillies - NCAA champion, WJC gold medalist
Jankowski - NCAA champion
Tkachuk - OHL & Memorial Cup champion, WJC medalist
Parsons - OHL & Memorial Cup champion, WJC medalist

seems like a new trend to have so many winners in the system. Definitely a positive thing IMO.

Barf.

Same player vs goalie is a brutal way to end a complete team game like hockey.

too bad the tournament is already over tomorrow. This is by far my favourite international tournament - heck, it's the only international tournament I'm interested in. I couldn't care less about Olympics, World Cup or World Championships ... but the WJC are awesome. Just great to see prospects in action that you usually just read about or see in short snippets on Twitter or Youtube. Also helps when you don't have a horse in the race and can just enjoy the games ... at least I don't have to lose my mind in front of the TV because of an inevitable Austrian bottle job

I don't mind the Olympics, World Cup is 'meh' and I don't care about the Worlds at all, it's just a tourney for Oiler players do something after they miss out on the playoffs every year.

I do agree this one is my favorite. This year's has been pretty good, too. Hopefully the next game is as good as the last one. Without the shootout.

Between Parsons and Gillies there is a lot to like about our goaltending future.

Why is the TSN audio mix always horrendous? I wonder if it's just Shaw. Zero sound from the surrounds and the commentator audio is just all over the place.
