So what's the consensus here? Was he trying to clear that puck? To me it looked like he just blacked out for a second. Big rebound, wide open net, muscle memory kicks in and he picks a corner.
Yep, just a brain cramp. He wasn't trying to turn, or shoot it in the corner. Just a reflex at the wrong time. Poor kid.

Jets, Avs, Canucks, and Coyotes are all dead. They're not going to be fighting anybody for anything.
Winnipeg is 5 points back from us with more games played than any other team (and 1 more than us). That's with some guys on pace to have career and award winning seasons.
Winnipeg sucks.
By your logic are the Stars done as well? Not being snarky, seriously wondering.

Hard to tell with Dallas. Good team playing pretty poorly, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they don't make the playoffs.
I think it's probably a California lock again, with Calgary, Edmonton, Dallas, and Nashville in the mix for wildcard spots. I just don't see any possible way where Winnipeg is outperforming 3 of those teams over the rest of the season to get in.

Lehthonen is really lacking confidence...in last nights game, he peeked over his shoulder after nearly every stop. Hossa's goal to make it 1-1 was AWFUL, as Lehthonen seemed square, and the puck STILL leaked through. Also Dallas' D just gives up too many chances. I don't expect them to be much of a playoff threat...

Doesn't help when your captain and number one Center constantly leaves the defensive zone early and doesn't back check.
Benn is a hell of a player but I wouldn't want him as the captain if I was a Stars fan. He is very over rated defensively and doesn't set a good example for the team. He has it in him to play a solid 2 way game but it's been very lacking the last couple seasons. I don't think the Stars will win anything with how many chances they give up.
And that pretty much goes for Seguin too. When they're both on the ice they will get a lot of chances and give up a tonne as well.
That Flames 2-1 win was so flattering for them. Could have easily been 6-1.
