That's what separates the contenders from the not so much. Sustained pressure by the Flames, been controlling most of the play for the period, their goalie makes a couple quality saves and the in a fraction you're burned by a superstar.

That doesn't "separate contenders from the not so much." That's plain old hockey, happens all the time.

Yeah, they need to smother the #### out of Kane. He's a Flames killer, that's well known. Don't give the most dangerous guy on the other team space.

not at all. He is just depended upon more. Wideman is not as good as Brodie is offensively and Hamiltin is about as good.

Brodie is just depended on for being responsible on both ends of the ice

Flames carried play most of the period. Were the better team but Crawford has stood tall.
