Announced 17,832. And while that figure is laughable, it is also notable as I believe it is the first time in over a decade they have announced a crowd below 18,000.

Nobody is showing up for Lions games as well and they have been a pretty good team this season. It's like Vancouver fans have decided not to support their sports teams although I suppose the Whitecaps do okay averaging around 22k per game which is good for MLS.

I'm happy for Granlund. Always kind of liked that guy and wish he had shown better in the bigs. Seems to me he was our best AHL player by a mile.

I think the Canucks can still squeeze into the playoffs if Miller and that first line can play decent.

I think the poor attendance in Vancouver across the board is a symptom of their housing/rental issue. Hard to afford to spend money to go to a Canucks/Lions game when your mortgage is $4500 a month or your rent is $3000.

My sister lives in Vancouver and her and her friends very very rarely go to games due to issues like this.

No. If the Canucks have any hope of making the playoffs their top line and goaltending must be spectacular. Being merely "decent" will get them out of the NHL bottom three.
