Way too sloppy. Edmonton getting way too many chances. Wideman is a liability anytime he's on the ice.
Wideman pinching and McDavid is on the ice.

Lazy play there from McDavid not to clear it, Edmonton stays trapped in their own end for 45 seconds and his teammates gets absolutely crunched as a result, then takes it up the ice for a great individual effort.
That's his MO in my opinion.

This is night and day from what we saw on Wednesday. Flames are skating hard and their forecheck has been pretty relentless so far. And Elliott looks great.
