Yeah, wandering around town with everyone he encounters on the street asking why he hasn't signed for a month + would've done wonders...

Wow that Oilers sub on reddit is pretty disgusting. I mean hey I hate various players and teams too, but you never ever EVER wish harm on a player. That's just pathetic and begging for bad juju.
Yet another subreddit I'll be avoiding.

Sounds a lot better than not being ready for the season.

Oiler fans are getting super cocky. Really hope the Flames put them in their place today.

For the Oilers season? Seems a little premature but probably not by much.

Shaw BGP router failure. Southern Alberta business services seemed to be down. It's up now, but we've seen it go up and down the last couple of hours so I can't promise it won't drop again. Seems to be pretty solid though. Fingers crossed!

Engellend is a much more known pugilist in the hockey fight realms than Lucic. Anyone that is surprised he held his own against Lucic has to realize its the other way around. Engellends fight card is much more impressive than Lucic and has been a top ten enforcer for years. In fact the last few years, he is easily in the top 3-5. The only reason why Lucic is now in the top ten is the decline of the actual enforcer role.
I actually like Lucic however he was known as a spot picker early on in his career. He is not here to enforce however and has never been that player. My point on this is Derek Engellend is the toughest and best fighter on either the Flames or the Oil.

I can live with that if the hit count is record breaking.

I doubt any retribution will happen against Tkachuk. Its pretty well established that targeting a rookie is an eye for an eye action. If an Oiler tries to pound on Tkachuk i'm positive the a Flame would take a shot at poolparty.

Hey, what's everyone's thoughts on the images in the OP? Are they necessary? I tried to make the files as small as possible so as to save data. Is anyone noticing a spike in data after reading the OP?

The best part about the oilers being pissed about a rookie flame is that they will lose focus tonight and Tkachuk will love every second of it. Seems like just the kind of thing he will thrive in. I just hope he scores and does some more damage, cleanly though. I think Burkie and BT love it too. Not sure we will hear them come out and say but I bet they do.
Tkachuk will need to be more careful tonight, the league will likely be watching a bit more closely after wednesday night and the alleged slewfoot on Davidson. I am not sure still after watching that clip a few times. It kind of looks like Matty was trying to nudge him with his shoulder and Davidson leaned on him knowing it was coming and they just went down together awkwardly. But I can see how many think it was a slewfoot.
Tonight will be fun.
