This is what goaltending looks like, right?
It's been so long since I've seen it I've completely forgotten.

That's looking less like a bold prediction and more like an expectation after every game. Dynamite each game he's played. Good two way player already. Obviously some areas he needs to improve on, but you can say that about any rookie. The most polished of any prospect we have right now.

Pretty much have to go back to 2008/09 or so to see goaltending like that. Kipper regressed after that point till the end of his career. It's been a while.

I have a good feeling about our goal tending this season. I know it's only preseason and playing against career AHL'ers at best, but I really like our goal tending tandem.

Poirier had a split second and almost no time to make that move. Dump play from the guy who dropped it off.

Agree completely, can't blame Poirier for that one at all. I imagine GG was not enthused with the drop pass either, considering he stopped practice the other day to give Shinkaruk #### for attempting one.

Hathaway just launched a Jet hard into the boards, may have gone into his own bench a bit.

The only thing I want to hope for now if that Janko keeps #77 up on the big squad.

Imagine Monahan - Bennett - Backlund - Jankowski as our centers, Stajan on the wing.

I think we're getting Rittich for the 3rd period tonight though, but Chad Johnson was spot on tonight, just like Elliott was last night.

He makes it look so easy. Watched a couple of sequences, always looks square, and calm.

Vey's wearing his College number, but he could take 20 once Higgins gets cut.
