Weib throwing her little male coach onto her shoulders was one of the most emasculating things I have seen in a long time. Yikes LOL

4 Gold medals for Canada, the most since 1992 where we got 7.

Decathlon Javelin on now. Eaton messed up his first throw, only about 53 metres.
Suarez threw about 73 but passed the foul line. 58.01 for Warner.

Two throws left.

Much better third throw. Warner throws 63.19m.

I have the updated decathlon standings as the following:

1 USA Ashton Eaton 8104
2 FRA Kevin Mayer 8060
3 CAN Damian Warner 7888

German guy in 4th place is 44 points behind Warner. Last event is the 1500m

So basically Warner needs stick to the German like glue to take home bronze

The scoring table for the 1500m seems to award a point for every .125 of a second, or so - though it doesn't seem uniform. Based on that, the German would have to beat Warner by just over 5 seconds to overtake him. Warner would have to beat the Frenchman by nearly 22 seconds to move up to silver.

Also, if you throw a Javelin 7.12m, you get one point. 63 metres and change is in the 780 point range.
