That Rio Velodrome looks kind of like the Saddledome except that they domed the roof instead of draping it down.

I wonder if they could dome the roof at the Saddledome easily and potentially solve some of the low roof concert cancellation issues.

Heptathlon is weird, they split the girls into two groups for the javelin.

Group A is throwing now, it has GB2 and BAR
Group B is throwing at 6:20 and it has BEL, GB1, CAN and GER

GB2 and BAR with horrible throws so far.

you should score 900 minimum in any heptathlon or decathlon event.
They are doing awful, which is good for BTE

GB2 throws 36.36 = 598 points (that's terrible)
BAR throws 42.00 = 706 points (that's not great)

door is open BTE should shoot for 47.00 which is around 800 points

is BTE capable of that? 800 points doesn't seem like she will be really cutting into those leads though...

I found on twitter that BTE needs 742 pts (43.86m) to pass women currently in 3rd & 4th (BAR and GB2). Season's best is 47.74m.

BTE isn't strong in the javelin, she can get around 800, but can get over 1000 in other events like the 800m
