Air Canada runs the chartered flights for the Flames when they are on the road.

This is a situation where when I first heard his name rumored, I was naturally skeptical. Now that it's basically official, I can't help but feel optimistic. Regardless of his past credentials, which aren't terrible, I don't believe it to reflect on what he could do with this Flames team going forward. I think he will be a guy the players will appreciate in ways they may not have been able to with Hartley. Perhaps there is some truth to what Treliving said about Hartley taking the team as far as he could. I'm sure he made that conclusion after interviewing the players directly.
Will Glen get more out of the Flames than Bob could? I look forward to finding out. Glen "More" Gullickson FTW!

It's just a sponsorship thing. The Flames have a bunch of sponsors, ranging from Scotiabank to Air Canada to Telus to (maybe not anymore) Enmax. The Jumbotron used to be called the 'Enmax Energy Board', the Saddledome used to be called the 'Canadian Airlines Saddledome' and the 'Pengrowth Saddledome'.
Just ways of getting extra revenue into the Flames' pockets.

What exactly is the deal with TSN and needing a cable-provider account in order to watch anything on their site? CBC and Sportsnet don't require that.
I'm sure there's a valid reason, but the cynic in me notes that this started happening right around the same time they lost the NHL contract...

Sportsnet does it too for their SN NOW streams. TSN just applies it to a wider range of their streams.
