Ban Hammer. Why even do this to us. My 15yr old son won't even tell me because he's not an ahole.

Because it takes away from the discussion, I wouldn't go into a movie reading Wikipedia and ruining the plot before seeing it.
Some people actually don't know because they don't read the comics and want that surprise when it gets announced by the show.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan was fantastic. A true charismatic character this series has long been missing. Keep hoping it wasn't one person Negan killed but all of Rick's group. The series then starts following him and company.
More Morgan please, less Carol. I laughed out loud at her sad whimper when she was shot in the arm.

Heck, even Trevor from GTAV was one of the more interesting characters they've had on in a while. Hope there's more of him, too, in season 7.

I thought he was good, but it wasn't quite how I imagine the character would be. I was expecting more of a bi-polar, one-minute calm and charismatic, and the next crazy loco. Kind of like a Frank Booth kind of character. The Negan they presented seems more calm and collected than I thought he would be. I am not disappointed or anything, but just not what I expected. Then again, we haven't seen a lot yet, so probably too early for me to assume I know everything the character will be.
As a side, I read that Henry Rollins was the original inspiration for the character and he was considered for the roll. I also read that Jon Hamm was close to landing it, but they thought he wasn't far enough removed from Mad Men yet. Personally, I would have liked to have seen that.

Omg, Rollins would have been an amazing choice, simply because he's slightly scary and unbalanced in real life. Wouldn't have to act at all.

Negan is a 'means to an end' type of baddie. He's not bi-polar or unhinged. Everything he does is by design, to intimidate and manipulate. I'm not even sure he 'likes' killing. He likes control and power, and he will do whatever it takes to get it. Honestly, I think the theatrics are just an act. He is not the Govenor v 2.0. I think they casted him perfectly.

I dunno who Ramsey/Reek are, but if it's anything like Megatron/Starscream, then count me in!

I'm having issues believing how in one day of captivity she went from bad ass, take no prisoners, kill anyone to survive to a reformed person that can't stomach any sort of killing. Regardless of that poor bit of writing, the wild swings of the character have made her less interesting as who really wants to see more of this gentler, kinder Carol?
Very excited to see how far Morgan can take the Negan character as the team has lacked a really good villain since the Governor.

I like remorseful Carol for a bit actually.
All of the characters do it at some point, they have that crisis of conscience, Rick had it when he became Farmer Rick until conflict with the Governor forced him to become the Solider again.
And thats sort of what I'm expecting of Carol. She is going to go through this moral crisis along with Morgan and they're both going to wind up meeting in the middle.
And then I presume Carol is going to end some more Saviour Fools.
Seeing as Carol and Morgan were the only real fighters that didnt get caught they're going to have a major role to play in rescuing the group this season.
One of the other things that my wife noticed was that there are no women among the saviours. Not one. Kind of odd. I dismissed it because it was a war party, etc. But Rick's group and even the Governor had women with them when they fought.

Carol's character is a joke and has been for some time. Her transformation from battered house wife to She-Rambo was so unbelievably stupid. Now she's turning into a sad panda? Seriously? Worst character on the show by a mile IMO.

RE: Locke's post
The Saviors had women, three of them caught Carol and Maggie a couple episodes back.

I'm curious will they transport the body of who ever gets crushed back to home base or do they leave it in fear from Negan and his men?

I'm assuming that the next order of business will be for Rick to escort Negan's group to Alexandria. I don't think there will be any time given for them to grieve or bury the victim.
