Not a single person has agreed with you on this. I think I've disagreed with textcritic and Resolute on some things in the past, but they 100% correct here.

Unfortunately I knew this thread would go down this road exactly as it has...blind hatred and all.

Past all the "weirdness" (which I whole heartedly agree it is) I would still like anyone who thinks GB has been a poor commish to explain how he has kept his job for over 20 years and was just re-upped for 7 more.

Particularly IF he has done such a poor job as many claim. Realize who he works for and come up with any sort of rational explanation.

I would suggest nothing of the sort exists though.

Yup beyond his union crushing saving the Alberta NHL hockey stance, I look forward to his once a year verbal a$$kicking combined with multiple looks of abject disgust interviews with Ron Mclean.

Alas, George Snuffalupagus with some generally soft questions replaced Maclean's general dickish questions towards Bettman this year. All that really happened was that Bettman didn't get George's cutesy "are you a gambling man" reference.
