I believe we would be a better team(if only slighty) if Wideman and Russell were moved from the team.

maybe we should keep them on the team if we're going all in on matthews

Team has mailed in these last two games. Been a while since we have seen a Flames team quit working but that's exactly what's happened.

For the sakes of my hockey pool, if the Flames are going to lose, I hope it's by 12 with hat-tricks by Benn, Klingberg and Sharp.

Taking a while to get to 5000

Dallas looks motivated, Flames look flustered. Plan of attack isn't working so the lines get shuffled a bit. Those pointing to poor coaching decisions have another feather in their cap.

You're not wrong. The Flames won every game when Russell was out.

At least rammo is trying. We should sign him to a 2 year contract until gilles develops. This team has a lot of holes that need to be fixed for sure

Yeah when Russell was out of the lineup earlier in the season the team didn't miss him at all.

That narrative may make it easier to accept, but I don't buy it for a millisecond. The reason for the horrible play is fragility and the fact they're not that good

The more I watch Russel the more I realize the reason he blocks so many shots is because he's always giving the puck away. I'm also none so impressed with our breakouts, which seem to consist of gaining the red line, dumping it in and peeling off for a line change.
Watch what Dallas does compares to what we do coming out of our own end. We look like a Junior C team.....
