When you work with credit, you learn very fast to see through peoples BS, and hard luck stories. I was suspicious after the second gofundme, but when the thrid came up, I knew it was a scam. I did PM the mods, and that is when the homeless thread came down.
You should thank the mod team for that, as more damage could have been done.
edit: I have no idea if that's why the thread got deleted, but I suspect it may have been.

Yeah, now I'm pretty pissed. I did get a sweet wall clock out of the deal, but I've given money to people who have really needed it and now this just makes me less willing to do so.

Yeah that's the thing that pisses me off, the next time someone on here legitimately is looking for help, we're all going to be more apprehensive about helping them, not because of anything they did, but because we all got taken for a ride here and won't be as willing to help from now on.

On a more serious note, I did not like this slimeball's sob story but wasn't gonna comment, as I'm sure a few posters would have called me heartless, if I'd question him.
