Can't believe sportsclubstats still has Edm as having about a 10 percent better chance of making the playoffs than us even though we got two games on them now while tied. Schedule must figure into their figures pretty big. Alsofind it hard to believe we're only at 25 percent while holding a spot and games in hand. Not saying I distrust the math, just wondering where the difference is coming from.

But according to some people if Hiller was given a run of starts similar to Ramo his game would be just as good.

It's so weird how whenever Johnny has jumped on the ice in 3 on 3 OT and gained possession, I've jokingly said "here's the game, right now" out loud and every time it HAS in fact been game over right there. Tonight I just said it almost matter of factly, knowing that we indeed are the kings of OT, and Johnny just gets it done.

Also first game this season won on the back of the goaltender. Great game, Ramo. Some heady plays, including jumping out of the way of that weird shot into the crease from the sharp angle. It was really nice to see how calm and collected he was despite everyone half-assing it on defence and just watching Nashville cycle.

Lots of holes to patch still, but if we can keep finding ways to win while we figure it out then that's just fine with me.

Awesome to get the win. Flames win twice.

Sorry to bitch about the refs but...

I was watching the Nashville feed and didn't have a good look at the penalty shot infraction but it looked rather weak to me. I saw a lot more infractions on Stajans break than that one which resulted in no call.

When will we have cameras in the cross bar? FFS I could rig up a goalie net with multipul cameras and wireless review inside of two days for less than 500 bucks. Surely the league could address this already. Also when looking at that over head and the crossbar appears five inches in front of the goal line one should be able to assume that the sliver of white beside the puck from that perspective means that it is in.

Great games by Bennett and Ferland.

TJ Brodie is in the conversation for best Defenceman in the league imo. He was fantastic tonight.

Hamilton had a great physical play and pass out for the gwg. Props to him.

Johnny... what can you say about him. His pass timing and execution is a thing of beauty.

Nice to see Russell with the gwg. I thought he struggled again tonight but made up for it on another gwg. I was thinking to myself in the third, oh well so long as Russell is implicated in the gwg every game we play then that is a positve as we will be winning.

Ramo had a great game. Lots of good saves and looked fairly confident from the middle of the first onwards. Keep it rolling.

The pk was solid tonight. It definately served as a momentum builder for us tonight. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

The pp was better tonight despite the lack of results, but Nashville was doing a great job of clogging the zone down low.

Overall a pretty good game to watch for the last two periods. Although we struggle with a close pluggy game e definitely are more comfortable once the game opens up.

Loving this win streak.

What is Gaudreau's points per 60 minutes of ice time in 3 on 3? It has to be absurd. The Flames should pay him 8 million a year. He's probably s 6 win above replacement player already this year based on what he's done in OT.

31 of the Flames remaining 52 games are against teams ranked 16-30th

17 of the first 30 were against the top 15. Only 21 remain.

Goal differential and strength of schedule. I think that's all they take in account

We can take pictures of someone's face from a satellite in space but we can't see if the puck was over the line.

That's my position as well. And I don't think anyone says Hiller would be better with a bunch of starts, just that he might get his game back in order, like Ramo did. In fairness, Ramo has played well for the last 2 or 3 games, and the rest of the wins in this streak were in spite of him (like Hiller's two). Undoubted of the two, Hiller's looked worse.

2 keys to the victory.

1. Even on the Special teams.
2. Khudobin wasn't in net.

They should stop calling it "Overtime" and call it "Gaudreauvertime."

Anyone got a video of Johnny's great defensive sequence behind the net where he basically became our Bergeron?

I think I've had enough of Patty. I hate how he talks when he disagrees with someone, just so insanely condescending in his tone of voice. He just straight up yells at people, I'm out.
