It's the right call...
Shame though, Johnny deserves an assist for that magic

Beautiful play but offside was the right call

That was the right call, unfortunately.
Hope it isn't a turning point of the game. Flames need to keep the pressure on.

One friggin inch. I know I'd want the goal disallowed if the situation was reversed but that bloody sucks. Beautiful goal taken away because of one godamn inch that gave no advantage leading to the goal.

I saw a look on the Sharks broadcast that looked OK for offside to me...

Definitely offside, but I think I would be ok if that kinda human error was still in the game

I don't know how to feels!
On the one hand I believe in the integrity of the game and think it's good that they got it right. On the other hand in the spirit of the game, how do you rob the league of a play like that? If the offside player is a fraction of a second later does it really change the play.
Ugh

In all fairness to Raymond, the PP didn't look any better when he was in the press box either.

I don't understand Rsymond on PP. Sure he is fast. How many times does he actually carry it in tho. He usually dumps, and by that point he won't win the battle for the loose puck anyways...

I don't get Raymond on the PP at all. Don't hate the guy, but he really doesn't do much offensively at all. I'd rather see Ferland out there and send him straight to the front of the net.

Same here, my biggest hate of it is how much it slows the game. Reminds me of watching a frickin football game (love football but hockey has way more flow, as it should). And here I was thinking the NHL was trying to make hockey games more exciting, not less.
Along with refs announcing what the call is, which started a couple years ago (every Canadian fan already knows what tripping, etc. is before the ref announces it) I am tired of these dumb things being added to the game. More hockey and more beer, less BS is what I say.

When Bouma is back, Raymond better be on a plane to Stockton.
