The play having stajan on the ice for 3-on-3 was that he's one of the best face-off guys on the team and possession is the most important thing in the new OT. He won the draw and immediately started going to the bench to change for Johnny... Problem was that wideman fumbled the puck in the corner and the Canucks got possession so stajan stopped and stayed on the ice. It's actually a good play if the exchange for Johnny can happen as planned.

Happy to see Hiller with the win. He probably deserved the opening night start - this guy is our starter. The D sure have a lot of room to improve and I am confident they will.
Overall very happy with win. Gets rid of the stink from opening night and gets everyone feeling good.
This first line is really something special.

Hiller and the first line were fantastic tonight. I thought Russell was steady but the rest of the d are still adjusting to each other.
I'm enjoying the return of these long form interviews to the post game show. Harkens back to After Hours. Principe's Carrie Underwood obsession notwithstanding.
