Nobody should be surprised by how tight these games are with the Indians. They're one of the hottest teams in baseball and been beating some good teams.

Still, I would feel better if we managed a couple insurance runs in the next couple innings.

Edit: crap...sorry for jinxing it everyone.

I am enjoying Dalton Pompey. Kid came to play, not just be a call up.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you win in the playoffs.

It helps, but let's not completely buy into these ex 80's ballplayer announcers eating up the small ball. Many, many playoff games are won and lost by the long ball too. Not every playoff game is a 2-1 affair.

I'm referring more to the willingness to win. Just gave up the lead? Come right back and find a way to get the lead back, even if it means manufacturing a run. Gotta be able to score multiple ways in the playoffs, that's all.

Steals third easily, catcher doesn't bother with a throw.

So much to like about this team. Pompey can pinch run anytime...

I wish him great success in the future. The talent is clearly there, but he's still raw. Just gotta keep on working on his A game in the minors for the time being.

Edit* Review that Gibby!
