I notice how he elaborated on that he was happy to mesh with the young core we got going on here. Definitely leaves me with the impression that he felt left out in the Bruins locker room.

I too have a blank jersey... for those reasons..and not because I'm too cheap to pay for a number and a name

I've considered getting a vintage #9 or a #12 Loob jersey. I'm glad I never got the #12 Iginla jersey. The way he reneged on the Bruins trade really rubbed me the wrong way, although I'd still like to see him get a ring to replace the one he should have gotten in '04.

It was funny how Dougie mentioned waking up every morning and watching TSN. I am sure that will make the Sportsnet overlords happy!

Man, Dougie couldn't stop smiling in the interview with Ryan Leslie.

anywhere to get the full press conference? The one on the Flames site only shows up to Treliving explaining Frolik's number.

Odd quote to focus on IMO.

Plus the question was about getting acclimated to the city, not play on the ice

I kinda feel bad for Dougie. Guy just wants to make friends. Sean and Johnny need to invite the kid to cowboys or something. Why was he not with the group at the stampede?

I think I read on CP somewhere that they had invited him to come out for Stampede.

I suffer from social anxiety and im super shy and avoid gatherings and places where I dont know the people. Once I get to know someone and feel comfortable I can be myself and have fun.
Not saying that Dougie has it. Just saying that if he does, its easy to overcome when things become familiar. Especially with support.

I'm not quite as bad as you seem, but I'm definitely very introverted and have to be in the right mood to be comfortable around strangers. Dougie seems a bit like that for sure.

I was wondering if there was a good Kelso joke for Frolik, but stumbled on this gem instead on HF:

Okay I just changed my mind on Frolik, let's make him our #1 RW and play him with Johnny Hockey & Monahan.
We could call the line Two and a Half Men
