Blackhawks made two big mistakes with the Timonen and Vermette deals. Paid too much for guys who are having little impact.

Also good to see even a team like the Blackhawks get dominated for stretches by the Ducks.

Chicago hasn't lost in the playoffs this year when leading after 1 (3-0). Anaheim hasn't lost in the playoffs this year when trailing after 1 (2-0).

Because the guy was sliding he has to completely clear the zone, so it was closer than it looked. Tough call for the linesman, but still not offside.

The Ducks were in total control of the second period. The shots were 19-7 in favour of the Ducks and it is 26-19 overall for Anaheim. The Blackhawks are hanging on and I do not think they will make it to overtime.

I tried to give Romanuk and Johnson the benefit of the doubt, maybe I was just an angry Flames fan and wanting to vent at the announce team.

We are talking overtime!

That was an entertaining third period as penalty killing for both teams was perfect. Chicago had a 9-8 edge in shots in that period and the Ducks lead in that category after regulation 34-28.

My guess is that a defenceman wins the game, Oduya scores for the Blackhawks and Vatanen for the Ducks.
