The Capitals franchise is the worst in game sevens. The team has also blown a few 3-1 series leads. It does not matter if the game is in Washington or not, they are cursed. It will be interesting to see if Ovechkin and others get points in this game as they have not in past game sevens.

Am sure Glencross would be disappointed in being scratched in a Game 7 - those opportunities don't come around too often.

Has Glencross declined this much or was it a case of us overrating him? I guess their GM thought he was worth a 2nd and a 3rd, but still, I think it's pretty interesting Trotz apparently thinks very little of him.

I'll always remember Nash scoring the rare 5 on 3 short handed goal on the Flames, so I think he is a penalty kill fixture.
